Access College Foundation

Program Coordinator

Ashley Woodous is a native of Norfolk, Virginia and currently resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Presently, she has been employed with Access College Foundation for 14 years and holds the position of Program Coordinator. Access College Foundation is a non-profit organization that assists students in attaining a college education who may not have otherwise had the opportunity. The organization works with students from the 7th grade through high school and college. Ashley oversees the direct services for 26 Middle Schools, 33 Southside Public High Schools, the College Success Program, and the newly added Career Connection Program. The position as Program Coordinator for Access College Foundation allows Ashley the ability to assist with the creation of new curriculum ideas for all areas of the program department as well as the day-to-day functions of the organization. This organization and position are very near and dear to Ashley’s heart due to her being a recipient of Access services while in high school and also a recipient of the organization’s Last Dollar Scholarship. 

Ashley has a Master’s of Higher Education Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Virginia Wesleyan University. Professional development is very important to Ashley, as she serves as a member of the National College Access Network’s (NCAN) National Rapid Response Team on College Access and Success Policies, a member of National College Access Network’s (NCAN) National College Access Advisory Board, and a general member of the Virginia Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. Additionally, Ashley has become a proud member of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce LEAD Hampton Roads Organization as she is a part of the Class of 2020 Professional Leaders.

Lastly, she is married to Rohaji D. Dale with 5 bonus children. Ashley also possesses a heart for giving back to the community as she serves as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
